Development & Training

  • Hi, My name is Tony and I am the trainer for Vibe UK.

In this role I have the delightful job of delivering internal training to all staff across the charity. From new staff to old, the training role is there to embed the values that are at the heart of the work we do, including the Rf4 Framework.

In this role I also support some youth work delivery, I think its important for a trainer to still be aware of what our youth workers are facing. I love working at Vibe UK and meet a lot of fabulous people from young people to staff.

Outside of work I love sport and play golf with friends, and enjoy lots of breaks with my family.

  • Sianette is an experienced trainer and has delivered training in both the corporate and voluntary sectors.

She has a wealth of training experience and youth work experiences that she can draw from that ensures she is not just talking the talk.

Sianette has designed and delivered training courses for all different types of audiences from young people in care in London to senior leadership teams in big companies such as Natwest and Google.

Sianette builds rapport very quickly and loves Vibe’s way of putting people at the heart of the training.

Outdoors

  • Hi, I’m Amber! I am a proud member of the Vibe Outdoors team at Vibe.

I have worked in the youth work field since 2017 in both a lead youth worker and youth support capacity. I have worked on a variety of projects including outdoor education, short breaks, young carers, open access and youth diversionary programmes such as the Positive Vibes Programme and Good Choices.

Quite often, you will either find me canoeing in Taylor Park or mentoring young people in the community!

I am passionate about youth work and the vital work we do with young people from across the North West.

  • With over 20 years of experience in youth work, I am dedicated to supporting young people through all aspects of their development. I’m passionate about the outdoors and love combining mentoring with activities like canoeing, countryside walks, and adventure-based learning to inspire and empower young people.

During my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, making lasting memories and having fun.

  • I’m part of the Vibe Outdoors team and deliver youthwork mostly through the outdoor environment and adventurous activities. I love to see people achieve more than they initially thought they could, to see positive relationships form and people skills develop.

  • My name is Ray, I am a Lead Youth Worker for Achievements and Outdoor Education.  My normal week involves running sessions with young people at Vibe Outdoors this could be canoeing, kayaking, archery, bushcraft or team games. You will also find me on walks in the countryside on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions or driving a minibus.  My aim is to make the sessions as fun and enjoyable as possible for the young people to help them create lasting memories.

  • Hi, I’m Ethan and I am a Youth Support Worker in the Outdoors Team.

Connected

  • I’ve always had a passion for working with young people because of the energy and the potential they bring. My favourite part of youth work is building meaningful relationships seeing the confidence that young people develop through support of a youth worker.

In my role as a Senior Lead for Vibe, I focus on creating safer communities by providing outreach detached and youth clubs, building partnerships within the community, and ensuring that every young person feels heard and valued. It’s inspiring to be part of a team that’s dedicated to making a positive impact on their lives.

  • Born and raised in Liverpool, I completed a BA HONS degree at the world prestigious Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in Applied theatre and Community Drama.

During this time, I specialised in facilitation and the use of games to further develop young people’s engagement.

Gaining valuable experience with secondary schools and community groups throughout Merseyside.

Since graduating I was quick to find myself working as a SEN learning support assistant. This job started to build on the foundations I learnt during my training drawing upon my skills of facilitation, leadership and working with young people in an educational setting.

From there I became a youth worker for VIBE UK where I am working across many programmes such as Outreach, Detached, Open Access and Programmes and engagement.

One of the main reasons I enjoy youth work is the transformative power I see that VIBE are the forefront of delivering across Merseyside.  I hope to see as many young people as possible reach the potential they all have.

  • After living in Liverpool for twenty plus years i now consider myself an honorary scouser who hails from Yorkshire.

Moving to study a drama degree, Liverpool soon became my home. In this time I have worked with countless young people through the arts, training them for work in all areas of theatre from on stage to behind the scenes and everything in-between.

I have always been involved with youth development and progression, and after leaving the Everyman theatre, where I was the Director of their youth programme, I now take all those transferable skills to VIBE UK.

I am deployed through working and engaging with young people in outreach, detached and the open access youth clubs. Committed to ensuring the next generation have the best access to what life can offer, regardless of circumstance. There is always something to learn from young people when given the time, focus and encouragement to flourish.

  • I have a deep passion for youth work and assisting them with their mental wellbeing. With a strong commitment to building meaningful relationships. I strive to empower young people to overcome challenges and discover  their full potential ultimately paving a pathway of success.

  • I have always had a passion for working with children starting as a volunteer gymnastics coach and have had many roles in different areas since then. I enjoy the youth work as you can see the impact you have on the young people we work with.

In my role as a youth support worker, I spend part of my time doing outreach where I am out in the local area engaging with young people and making sure they are safe. Then I spend the rest of my time in youth clubs providing fun and engaging sessions for our young people.

  • I have always loved working with young people because of how rewarding it is, especially with vibe. Working with young people is more than just being there for them, my favourite parts of this work is the impact we have on the youth and the way it empowers them to be independent and build relationships with themselves and everybody around them.

My role as a youth support worker puts me in the community doing what I love, the many different aspects make this job unique and I feel we are always growing and changing for the better.

  • Hi, I’m Rebecca (they/them)!

I’m passionate about working with young people and amplifying their voices—it’s a privilege I truly love. I’m also a huge advocate for LGBTQIA+ representation and strive to create inclusive spaces where every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.

My journey began at thirteen when I started volunteering with Brownies, and I haven’t looked back since. I went on to earn a Level 3 in Youth Work at St Helens College and spent five years working with Open Access and SEN clubs in the Liverpool City Region. Now, as part of the Vibe team and a Rainbow and Ranger leader with Girlguiding, I’m inspired daily by the incredible young people I get to support.

You’ll often find me working alongside brilliant young people at St Helens Youth Council, Halton Youth Cabinet, L30 Youth Council, and MAST Youth Council. It’s a joy to be part of their journey and help amplify the change they’re leading!

  • Hi, I’m Laura, one of the Youth Workers at Vibe. Before joining the team, I was actually a young person at Vibe for several years, I now support and inspire others as part of the team.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy baking, staying active with sports, and experimenting with new hair colors. I can’t wait to meet you all and be part of your journey at Vibe!

  • I’ve been a youth worker for 23 years and still have a great passion for helping young people on their journey while building positive relationships .

I have worked on many different projects over the years but I am currently working on Me Timeand supporting Short Breaks which for me is amazing, seeing the young people grow and develop.

  • I have over 25 years experience within the field of youth work. This has included detached work, youth club setting, crime reduction, female focused work and watersport coaching.

I am currently working on a project which provides respite for children who have taken on the role of carer within the home environment.

I, as part of a team support young people, giving them the opportunity to explore their potential, through varied activities within a friendly and safe environment.

With us they can develop skills, a sense of self and relationships with their peers and the wider community.

I have a particular interest in the emotional wellbeing of the young people I work with and seek to encourage them to develop emotional intelligence and resilience through creativity and mindfulness.

  • Hi, I’m Dave!

I joined the team three years ago as a Facilities Coordinator at Our Place. Within just six weeks, I was trained to drive the 17-seater minibus for Me Time, becoming the first face young people see when they arrive. Not long after, I completed online training to take part in face-to-face sessions—and I’ve never looked back!

I never expected to work with young people, but I gave it a go and found it incredibly rewarding. I love making a difference, even if it’s just in one young person’s life, and I really enjoy meeting each new cohort. Every day brings something new, and I’m grateful to be part of their journey.

Targeted

  • I am the Lead youth worker for Targeted which is for all our SEND groups within vibe, I have a wealth of experience within SEND and social care having worked in local authority for 34 years  which gives me the knowledge I need when working within Targeted knowing how the social care process works I can offer families the support they need and work with other professionals within the needs of the young people

I have worked for VIBE for 3 years I enjoy working for vibe as we offer lots of different programs for all young people and having a specialist team for SEND within a youth setting is working well, Vibe also offers opportunities young people would not have access to which is show within the growth of vibe especially within Targeted.

  • I am on team targeted and i have been for almost 3 years i joined when i was 17 as a volunteer with Vibe outdoors then applied for a role in targeted and i have been doing all things targeted ever since.

i enjoy what i do because I have a passion for working with Young people especially SEND and seeing the difference we make for some of them is the most rewarding part of the job.

Especially because in targeted we see the YP for a long time, ages 12-18 then when they are 18 they can move onto INC so we see them for even longer which is brilliant.

  • I have worked with children and young people with additional needs for many years. It is work I enjoy and am passionate about. I was transferred over to Vibe, which I am very happy with. I am continuing to do the job I enjoy so much. I am working with dedicated people who share my passion for the welfare of children and young people.

It is an added bonus to work on the INC contract where I am able to see the continued development of our young people beyond the age of 18.

  • I have worked with few young people before I joined vibe.I applied to Vibe because it seemed like the perfect organisation for me to achieve my goals and have me thrive in working with children and one of my major goal as a person is to be very supportive to everyone anywhere u find myself which vibe has given me the opportunity to do.

I work with targeted groups for short breaks and I can say it's one of the most amazing thing to do working with SEND young people ranging from certain age group [9-25] in general and seeing them happy and engaged is our major role as staffs and organisation as a whole. We engage with them in so many activities art's and crafts, board games and many more.

Its a very great experience I'm happy to have and I am always grateful for having to be a part of a brilliant team and  organisation.
