Youth Cabinet (Halton)

Funded by Halton Council.

Halton Youth Cabinet and UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) members are young people aged 11-18 years, elected to represent the views of young people across Halton, locally, regionally and nationally such as, British Council Youth Convention . We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each Month in Widnes & Runcorn.

UKYP members also represent views nationally, attending an annual debate in the House of Commons in London.

Members attend events informing them about important social and political issues. They gather the views of other young people using online surveys, and campaign for changes by producing films, blogs and other media.

Family Parent Carer Forum

Funded by St Helens Council.

This forum is for parent/carers in St Helens who are passionate about making positive change and want to support the development of the Family Hub Programme. We meet on a Monday afternoon, 12:30-1:30pm at Sutton Family Hub, St Helens.

The group takes part in consultations and decision making to shape the new Family Hub offer, come along to ensure your voice is heard!

Big Chat (St Helens)

Funded by St Helens Council.

Big Chat is a youth voice group for young people aged 11-25 with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND). We discuss issues that are important to young people and campaign for positive change in our area.

We have members from several SEND provisions across St Helens and meet twice a month in Sutton Family Hub.

Members will take part in consultations and discuss issues that are important to them, creating ways to tackle these and have our voices heard. Our latest work is around Education, Health and Care Plans ensuring young people are involved in these and they are the best they can possibly be.

MAST Tall Ships (Liverpool)

Coming soon – Vibe will be hosting the Merseyside Adventure Sailing Trust Youth Voice Group, meetings will be twice a month, 1 virtual and 1 face to face in Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock. The forum will look to engage young people in decision making, consultation and help shape the offer from MAST, ensuring that the programme meets the needs and desires of its members, to get involved contact

Vibe youth workers provide a lunchtime drop in service whereby young people can ask and talk openly to young people and anything! whether it be sexual health, underage pregnancy, contraception, mental and or physical health

NHS Nurse Cadets (SJA)

Will be operating from Sutton Family Hub in St Helens and Robert Foulkes Community Centre, Whiston, starting in January 2024, registration to participate is via the Nurse cadets website Find the right programme | SJA NHS Cadets

NHS Cadets, is a new scheme created in partnership with the NHS providing opportunities to explore roles in healthcare. It is aimed at young people aged 16 to 18 who are from communities currently under-represented within the NHS and St John Ambulance 

This means that this project aims to reach a diverse range of young people who have barriers to entering health volunteering and/or a health care career.
