We are constantly updating our activities and offer for young people in line with Government guidelines - please see our Coronavirus Updates page for more information on specific programmes.
We are able to restart face-to-face activities with young people for Open Access sessions, group activities and one-to-one sessions, with our Summer Programme on 27 July 2020, we will ensure to adhere to Government guidance on social distancing and attendee numbers. We will ensure we include extra provision for cleaning the centres between sessions (if held indoors). We will have hand washing provisions and sanitiser gel available, and limit the number of session attendees so that we can safely maintain a social distance. Our team will remind young people at the beginning and throughout sessions of the need to remain socially distanced from one another.
At Vibe Outdoors, we will be working within guidelines to involve small groups of no more than 5 young people during July and August.
We are continuing to update the Vibe Virtual Offer on a weekly basis in response to the needs of young people. Over the summer we intend to provide:
- Mindfulness activities
- Drawing lessons
- Movie reviews
- Support with learning from home
- Appreciating nature sessions
- Taskmaster challenges
- Wellbeing groups
- Share your skills
- Signposting to other services
- Sharing good news stories
- Self-care ideas
We will continue to offer online Open Access sessions, including group chats, and we will engage with young people through social media including Instagram and TikTok. We will continue to host online quizzes, challenges, and virtual activity sessions.
